Pop-Up Advocacy at WIC/HAP Office
An event every week that begins at 11:30 am on Thursday, repeating indefinitely
Date: Every Thursday from 11:30am-3:30pm CST
Location: Ramsey County WIC/Hmong American Partnership office, 1075 Arcade St., Saint Paul, MN
The purpose of Pop-Up Advocacy is to offer safety resource services to victim-survivors, which can take many forms: this can mean safety planning, connection to shelter beds, legal support, resource referrals, Safe at Home enrollment, and more. We will have trained crisis resource advocates available to connect with individuals in the community, hear their stories, and get them the support that they need.
What to Expect:
- Welcoming, trained advocates with safety resources and brochures
- Advocates ready to listen to your story and support you in getting what you need. Private space to connect with an advocate 1-1 available upon request!
- Advocates can help you make a plan for your safety, write up documents to break your lease, connect you to help with filing Protective Orders, and more.
