What We Can Do

Young women between the ages of 16 and 24 experience the highest rate of intimate partner violence – almost triple the national average. Here’s how you can help.

8-steps to support someone who is experiencing domestic violence, via RAINN.

Do you know someone who is experiencing or has survived domestic violence and/or sexual assault? Learn what to say here.

Not sure how to help a loved one experiencing Domestic Violence? Try these five steps:

  1. Believe
  2. Acknowledge
  3. Respect Their Choices
  4. Encourage Safety Planning and Documentation
  5. Don’t Intervene Unless Asked

If you know someone who is experiencing violence or homelessness, share our community resources page with them, which has tons of helpful information.

Ending domestic violence requires the support of a community. Are you feeling motivated to help survivors and want to get involved? If so, consider making a donation or volunteering with us!

Wednesday, April 25th is Denim Day, in recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Thank YOU for helping to create a world where we #SurviveTogether!
