Three ways you can support victim-survivors of domestic violence this holiday season:
Give to the Max Day is Minnesota’s giving holiday. Although we did not reach our $200,000 goal before November 16th, there is still time to give before the end of the year! Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference in the lives of victim-survivors and their families. Your contribution allows us to provide our 24/7 crisis line, emergency shelter, stable housing after shelter for the folks we serve, and much more.
2. Gift Card Drive
We are collecting gift cards to support victim-survivors financially during the holiday season and throughout the year as they exit our emergency shelter and continue their healing journey. Gift cards in $20-$50 amounts are most useful from places such as:
- Cub Foods
- Speedway Gas Station
- Holiday Gas Station
- Pet Smart
To donate gift cards, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a drop off or mail gift cards to:
PO Box 4039
Saint Paul, MN 55104
3. Be Present Gift Drive
Three families still need your help!
Holidays can be hard for many as they are healing from the trauma of domestic violence, but with your help we can lighten the load on victim-survivors and make the holidays less stressful. If you are interested in signing up to provide holiday gifts for a family or individual we serve this year, we would love to hear from you! Please email email@example.com to participate.
