Safer Together Virtual Rally

March 30 through April 3 is Violence Free Minnesota’s Twin Cities Metro Region Advocacy week. Join Violence Free Minnesota and its member programs, including Women’s Advocates, in the Twin Cities Metro Region for a VIRTUAL rally. We are not holding a rally at the Capitol this year due to the current coronavirus pandemic, but it is still critical to call on legislators to support domestic violence services, especially during times of community-crisis.

Here’s how you can participate:

• “Check in” at the rally on social media platforms, no matter where you are physically!
• Share your thoughts on how we, as a community, are #SaferTogether! You can post in the discussion, plus like and comment on other people’s posts.
• Share a selfie of you holding a sign that says “We are #SaferTogether when….” Finish the sentence with your ideas!
