Juneteenth Community Cook-Out
June 15 / 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm @ Hallie Q. Brown Community Center FREE
Join us on Thursday, June 15th for a Juneteenth Community Cook-Out!
Join us for a free evening of food, music, and community spirit! This event is dedicated to honoring the Black/African-American victim-survivors we serve, and the Black/African-American led businesses, musicians, and community partners that make this community strong. Bring your friends and family for a casual, inspiring evening!
- Enjoy music from the students and faculty of Walker West and Juste the DJ
- Be inspired by the keynote address from Dr. Sheila Sweeney, who will share about her connection to Women’s Advocates and her experience growing up as a child of the Rondo neighborhood.
- We’ll have a smoker and grill on site, cooking up all your cookout favorites that you won’t want to miss!
Don’t forget to register now to secure your spot!
