Mindfulness Techniques for Survivors

Date: Thursday, December 3rd, 2020 from 1-2:30pm central US time 

Join Brenisen (Women’s Advocates’ Education and Outreach Coordinator) and Saran (Women’s Advocates’ Mental Health Therapist) in discussing mindfulness techniques for survivors.

We’ll discuss:

  1. Basics on how trauma impacts the mind and body
  2. What is mindfulness? How can it be a helpful tool for survivors?
  3. How can survivors integrate mindfulness into their daily lives/emotional safety plan?

**ASL interpretation will be provided for this event.
