- Community Stabilization Project 651-225-8778 CSP’s mission is to build TENANT STABILITY THAT WILL LEAD TO COMMUNITY by: informing, educating, advocating for and organizing tenants to take action to preserve and increase the supply of healthy, safe and affordable housing in the City of Saint Paul.
- Unlawful Detainer and Eviction Expungement Eviction cases show up on your public record, regardless of the individual nuances of your situation. Depending on what occurred, it is possible to get an eviction case expunged from your record. For example, if you won your case in court, or settled with your landlord, you could get your case expunged. Law Help MN is a helpful resource more information.
- StreetWorks Outreach Collaborative 612-354-3345 outreach workers provide young people ages 13-24 with connections and needed resources such as housing, case management, counseling, life skills training, food, family reunification and safety planning, emergency shelter, and other basic necessities.
- Make Homes Happen envisions a Minneapolis where all residents can afford their home and have meaningful choices in where they live. To achieve this vision, Make Homes Happen proposes the City commit $50 million annually, for ten years, in new, local, dedicated revenue to produce and preserve affordable rental and ownership housing.
- HOME Line 612-728-5767 HOME Line provides free and low-cost legal, organizing, education, and advocacy services so that tenants throughout Minnesota can solve their own rental housing problems. They work to improve public and private policies relating to rental housing by involving affected tenants in the process.

- Housing Link 612-522-2500. Use the HousingLink website to search for affordable rental housing vacancies and waiting list openings in Minnesota and learn about housing tips and watch videos about fair house, as well as other information.
- United Way 211. Call 2-1-1 or Toll Free: 800-543-7709 or Local: 651-291-0211 or text your zip code to 898-211 (texting available M-F 8am-7pm). Provides free and confidential health and human services information for people in Minnesota. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to connect you with the resources and information you need.
- MN Legal Advice. If you are a low income renter, their lawyers can help you with your legal questions.
- Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS) provides free legal representation and advice to low income people in 33 counties of southern Minnesota. To get help, call 1-888-575-2954 or apply online. Hotline hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-11:45am and 1:00pm-3:00pm CST.
- Volunteer Lawyers Network 612-752-6677. For low income people in Minnesota that need help preventing unlawful evictions, getting workers money they are owed, helping parents obtain custody of their children, and more.
- Landlord and Tenants Rights and Responsibilities. Online handbook from the Attorney General’s Office explains what rights landlords and tenants have in the rental housing relationship in Minnesota.
- Legal Aid. Legal aid specializes in providing professional civil (not criminal) legal help to Minnesotans who cannot afford the services of a private civil attorney.
