In-Kind Donations and Wish List

We are in need of new or like-new seasonal and comfort women’s and children’s clothing, including sweats, pajamas, jeans, cotton T’s, and new underwear, bras, and sports bras. We are also in need of new towels of all sizes, new twin-XL bedding sets and blankets, and African American hair products (shampoo, conditioner, oils). If we cannot accept your donation, here are other options for clothing donation locations in the area.

Amazon Wish List

For essential needs items, we have an ongoing Amazon Wish List. When shopping on Amazon, please use our Amazon Smile link. Using this link results in a donation from Amazon of 0.5% of eligible product costs.

Gift Cards

Throughout the year, we seek donations of Target, Walmart, gas station, and grocery store gift cards to support the immediate needs of the families living here and our Aftercare program families.

Holiday Giving

Each holiday season, we seek community support to fulfill shelter and resident needs, including:

  • Adopt a Family: Provide holiday cheer in the form of gifts for families in our Transitional Housing & Aftercare programs who have recently left our shelter. Family wish lists will be provided closer to the holidays.
  • Gifts: Our priorities for our residents this holiday season include:
    • New lounge-wear (robes, slippers, women’s & children’s pajama sets)
    • Target & Walmart gift cards to help residents shop for personal family holiday gifts and fulfill immediate needs year-round
    • New children’s toys (for storage purposes, must be smaller in size)

If you are interested in supporting Women’s Advocates this holiday season, contact development@wadvocates.org or 651-726-5212 to coordinate. For the safety of our staff, shelter, and residents, deliveries of donations must be previously approved and scheduled in advance.
